I am Ready

Knowing it would be really tough 2 1/2 months following the departure of senior in 3 weeks time, as by then I would be the most senior architectural staff in the office.

The salary doesn't reflect my responsibility, the recognition and respect doesn't reflect my ability, role and commitments. Yet I would be asked to perform up to the standard of a part 2, maybe, failing which, I would be again in the hell yeah for the rest of my days in the office.

After analysing, fighting against the dilemma, and absorbing the unpleasant experience I had, and could have faced in the future for more than a week, I have decided to take up this challange, and climbing up the learning curve.

Life is full of ups and downs, and I choose not to escape any of these. I have passed through it once, and I have now prepared myself for the second time.

I am Ready.

Digital vs Film

I have been thinking that film camera produces pictures quality that way beyond digital, however this challange shows the reverse. Massive and costly experiment, and interesting results.

Vintage Weekend

Busy weekend, working overnight on Friday, to rush for a submission of drawings for a client on saturday afternoon... (I never know MPPJ work on saturday >.<)

It was all because I had to be in Genting by 8pm, for her...

I know she is popular, but didnt expect a full house in the House of Dreamz.

The concert started with some really old song... 1976 =.=", 33 years ago...

Was planning for a revision of her songs before the concert, however was too tight with the Hangzhou project for the past few weeks, thus most of the songs performed I listen for the first time. Simple songs, simple music, yet, they are so touching from the beautiful voice of 风飞飞.

Throughout the concert, I was looking around, hoping for someone younger than me... but very very little, only with those kids coming with parents and grandparents. >.<. However, thanks to a 3 year old young lady's presence at the concert, making me a middle-age-range audience. He he...

When coming to the end of the concert, to my most surprise... Even a 1970's legend singer also knows the trick of "Encho", and it was not only once, but twice!!! The most funny and frightening was that, she left the classic 掌声响起 at last, the very last encho!!! I once thought I not gonna have the chance to listen to that on the day liao. Sob sob. >.<

It was a really great concert, except the background music... was "a little too loud" till we cant really hear the vocal.

Still, happy night. ^^

The next morning before going back, was having breakfast + lunch at Ah Yat Abalone due to the long queue during the school holiday weekend.

It was served all-rounded, in terms of smell, colour, and presentation.

However...it would soon rest in peace in a mouthful moment.

Dos and Dons during flood

It was a big rain, and I was concentrating on my work. Only realised it was an damn fucking very heavy rain pour when blackout occured in the office. Looking out to the window trying to relax my mind, to my surprise, I saw this...

Knowing it was not right, not right, I quickly went down to check on my car, only to find out that...the water had risen to the height of the exhaust pipe, without any hesitation, I decided to start my car and drove it to the higher land.

The moment I opened the door, the water started to flush in...Yay, the water flushed in, was like a small scale of dam opened to the Huang He. =.=" ... until like this...

Nothing I can do, because I chose to save my engine from the water...Thought can clear the car with hands, I borrowed some pails to clear the water.

Thanks for this shy lady for giving her helping hand

However, later I found out that, there are a lot of water stored under the carpet, and there is no way i could clear it off in office, with those simple tools.

Helpless when seeing this, and seeking to the last resort, sending to the cleaning center. >.<

Heartpain when seeing my car's skin was peeled off

These are what I learnt from this RM150 lesson:

1. During flood, if the water level havent reached the exhaust pipe, immediately drive it off.

2. If the water level exceeds the exhaust pipe, let it be, start the engine only when the water level drops below the exhaust pipe.

3. If the water is going to rise above the engine level, may take a risk to drive it off. Always step on the accelerator pedal to full. This is to prevent the water from entering the engine through

the exhaust pipe.

4. If the water rises above the roof of the car, dun be foolish, swim way!!! haha... :p

Lastly, stay cool as the guy below, no matter what happens. He he...^^

Was searching online for the diving information before I go Tioman this saturday, and I found this...

Breathing normally, equalising air pressure and the other things has already taken up most of a diver's concentration, let alone Fucking underwater, carrying kgs of gas tank, BCD, mask, snorkel and weights!!!

After seeing the images, there was only one word came across my mind... Geng!!!

Photos from 50mm f1.8

It was a blur blur weekend for me, after blood donation in Saturday morning, as what I have promised to do , I had been having a whole bloody long of weekend blue... @.@

Firstly I had not had a single day of enough sleep, movie, dinner, shopping... haha... :p

Besides, having found my new bought lense was actually infected with fungus... >.< Having considered the risk of getting my D80 body get infected, I decided to return it to the seller. (at 300 with filter, this is the cheapest used 50mm I could find so far).

Half an hour after returning the lense... I got my one month old 50mm f1.8, at only 350 with filter. ^^ Call me a photo-equipments-holic, but I am not, this lense really helps a lot in shooing great pics, these are the proves.



I am so into photography right now, because it's always been my love. ^^
